As a drag artist, singer and musician, I appear regularly as Aphrodite Greene née Jones, one fifth of drag band DENIM and recently appeared in upcoming BBC drama, TRIGONOMETRY. Represented by Kitty Laing at United Agents and sponsored by MAC Cosmetics, the all-singing troupe has played across the UK, including performances at the Edinburgh Festival, Soho Theatre and Glastonbury – with an appearance by Florence Welch. They recently created a show for children that won Best Children’s Show at Edinburgh Festival 2018.
“Aphrodite Greene nee Jones (Charlie Parham) could be Ellen Greene’s long lost identical twin, the only discernible difference being Aphrodite’s fabulous bass register.”
Brittle Aphrodite Green, mother of six […] torch-songs Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
